During the 16 Days of Activism against GBV Campaign which runs from 25 November to 10 December, YONECO has been conducting a number of activities throughout the period.
Among other activities, YONECO has been conducting community enagement meetings and awareness campaigns in order to contribute towards ending the problem of GBV in Malawi.
Further to this, our teams have also been supporting joint commemoration events at national level in a number of districts namely; Dedza, Chikwawa, Mangochi, Zomba, Machinga and Mangochi.
This year, Malawi joined the rest of the world in observing the 16 Days of Activism against GBV under a localized theme ‘Orange Malawi: End Violence against Women and Girls, Act Now!’
